We are a student run organization that focuses on helping chemistry graduate students & postdocs prepare for the development of a professional career. You may be asking yourself, what career do I even strive for? How do I get my image out there? Here at GCPD we seek to give students the tools to forge their careers, get more insight to what options students have, and grant guidance on the basic necessities any student may need to be a competitive job applicant.
Not much information is given regarding alternative career choices (outside of academia and industrial positions), our organization seeks to inform our student body about various occupations.

1. Increase student awareness of the exciting potential career trajectories a chemistry degree affords.
2. Prepare students for their next step through professional development programming, including: workshops, career path seminars, networking events, etc.
